The Magic of a Name: Why you should Want to be Googled

For those of us that can remember, Yellow Pages was the analogue version of Google.

A huge Yellow Book with lists of businesses all looking for your business – so you flick through to say Bakers and wow – there is a list of all the bakers in your area.

But which one do you choose if you haven’t heard of any of them?

Look, we all know the internet is a weird and wonderful place. It's where cat videos reign supreme, and you can fall down a rabbit hole of memes faster than you can say "I should be working." But let's get serious for a moment (well, as serious as we get around here) and talk about your business.

You see, in this digital age, there's one thing that can make or break your business. No, it's not whether you've managed to master the art of the TikTok dance (although kudos if you have). It's whether people are Googling your business name.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "But I want people to search for what I do, not who I am!" Well, I hate to break it to you, but you're in for a paradigm shift. Because in today's crowded market, being known for who you are is way more powerful than being known for what you do.

Why, you ask? Let me paint you a picture. Imagine your business is a bakery, and you make the best cupcakes in town. But how will anyone know if they're just searching for "cupcakes near me"? They'll be swamped with options! But if they're searching for "Cupcake Charlie's," well, now you're cooking!

That's where I come in. My job isn't just to make your marketing memorable; it's to make it so bloody unforgettable that people won't just remember your name – they'll be typing it into Google faster than you can say "SEO." I'm talking Big Illuminated Light Box over the Central Motorway here in Newcastle, level of unforgettable if you get my drift!

And how do we achieve this fame and glory? With powerful, creative ideas that spread.

We'll get people talking, sharing, and, yes, Googling. So much so that Google might just have to create a new algorithm to keep up.

So, are you ready to become more than just another "cupcake shop" lost in the sea of search results? Are you ready to become "Cupcake Charlie's," the name on everyone's lips (and search bars)? Good. Because that's what I’m here for.

Remember, in the world of marketing, you don't want to be a wallflower. You want to be the life of the party. The one who gets the crowd going. The one whose name everyone knows. And with me, that's exactly who you'll be.

Welcome to the future. It's time to get Googled.

And it's time to start Doing it Differently!
